Summary
Responsible for providing counseling and advisement services to students, teachers, and families to develop personal, religious, social, emotional, educational, and/or vocational skills and values.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provide academic and emotional counseling for students.
- Identify and develop creative intervention methods and procedures to adapt effectively to unusual situations; participate in coordination, monitoring, and reporting of student interventions.
- Serve as a resource specialist for teachers and parents regarding counseling needs. Work with students, parents, and staff in a compassionate and productive manner.
- Assist teachers in effective planning, organizing, and implementation of strategies for optimum behavior management.
- Serve as a liaison to school staff and outside resources; maintain consistency and continuity in the school’s response procedures.
- Provide guidance to teachers in working with student behavior and classroom management; implement an effective referral and follow-up process.
- Demonstrate exceptional counseling techniques including documentation and student tracking.
- Provide appropriate information to staff related to the comprehensive school counseling program.
- Assist teachers, parents/guardians, and other responsible parties in interpreting and understanding student data.
- Monitor and supervise student activities as appropriate.
- Create/maintain the master schedule throughout the year in collaboration with the administration.
- Serve as the school AP Coordinator, ensuring all deadlines are met with College Board including registration of students and teachers for AP courses and exams.
- Conduct junior and senior meetings with students and parents for purposes of transcript/credit evaluations and college application process.
- Schedule and facilitate college visits both on and off campus.
- Facilitate college/parent night workshops for families.
- Conduct student support meetings with faculty and parents/students and maintain regular contact with families of struggling students throughout the year to update on progress.
- Coordinate college application process to ensure all appropriate evaluations, documentation, recommendations, transcripts, etc. are delivered to colleges in a timely fashion through Common App and other school-specific application management systems.
- Maintain confidentiality of school records and other student information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
Master’s in Education (school counseling preferred) and relevant experience.

The ideal candidate will be a versatile musician and educator capable of teaching a variety of music courses, including instrumental music (band/orchestra), choral music, and general music classes. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective music lessons in instrumental music (band/orchestra), choral music, and general music theory/appreciation.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive music curriculum that aligns with diocesan and state standards, while integrating Catholic values and traditions.
- Instruct students in music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and performance techniques.
- Conduct rehearsals and performances for various school events, including liturgical celebrations, concerts, and community outreach programs.

Summary
The Youth Minister & Notre Dame Campus Minister serves as a missionary disciple, accompanying young people through presence, relationship, and evangelization in both parish and school settings. This role is intentionally structured as a 50/50 split, with equal time dedicated to parish-based youth ministry and Notre Dame Campus Ministry (20–25 hours per week total). The parish-based youth ministry component of this role is located at and coordinated through Mary, Mother of Our Savior Parish, which serves as the primary host site for this position, while also supporting a broader collaborative vision for youth ministry across the vicariate. Primary work location is Mary, Mother of Our Savior Parish, with regular presence at Notre Dame Jr./Sr. High School. At its core, this role is relational rather than program-driven, focusing on: • Consistent presence • Building authentic connections • Creating a welcoming and safe environment for young people • Fostering a sense of belonging • Inviting young people into a personal encounter with Jesus Christ Schedule will include regular evenings and occasional weekends, aligned with youth ministry and school programming.
