Learning beyond academics.

About Student Clubs

Students have many options and opportunities to participate in many enriching clubs and activities—music, drama, and philosophy, and more.

The Student House Leadership Council serves as the representative voice and the driving force behind our Notre Dame House System. Composed of elected leaders from each House, the Council bridges the gap between the student body and administration, ensuring that every student has a hand in shaping our school’s culture and traditions.

The Council’s work is focused on three strategic goals:

  • Cultivating House Identity: Planning high-energy House meetings, pep rallies, and "House Sorts" that turn a group of students into a lifelong brotherhood or sisterhood.
  • Managing the Cup Competition: Overseeing the tally of House points earned through academics, athletics, and acts of service, culminating in the awarding of the Juggler Cup at the end of the year.
  • Mentorship & Connection: Serving as House Presidents who welcome new students, mediate conflicts, and ensure that no student feels lost within the larger school community.

The National Honor Society (NHS) at Notre Dame is more than just an honor roll; it is a distinction recognized nationwide for students who consistently demonstrate excellence in the classroom and the community. Membership is an invitation to lead by example and a commitment to represent the highest standards of our school.

Our chapter is built upon four foundational pillars:

  • Scholarship: A commitment to academic integrity and a lifelong passion for learning.
  • Service: A dedication to volunteering time and talents to help others without compensation.
  • Leadership: Taking the initiative in school and community activities to influence others positively.
  • Character: Upholding high ethical standards, demonstrating reliability, and showing respect for all individuals.

Members of the NHS work together on impactful service projects, peer tutoring, and school-wide initiatives, proving that true achievement is measured by what we give back to the world.

The Voices of Our Lady Choir is a community of singers dedicated to praising God and achieving musical excellence. As a primary liturgical voice of our school, we bridge the gap between ancient sacred tradition and modern choral artistry. We lead the student body in worship at all school Masses, from traditional hymns to contemporary praise. We welcome all voices, focusing on vocal technique, sight-reading, and harmonic blending in a supportive environment. "To sing is to pray twice." — St. Augustine

Capture the moments. Tell the stories. Create the memories. Our Yearbook Club is responsible for documenting every highlight of the school year and producing a beautiful keepsake that students will treasure for a lifetime.

Yearbook Club members work together as a team of journalists, photographers, designers, and editors to create a comprehensive visual and written record of the school year. From sports events to academic achievements, club activities to candid moments, we capture it all and transform it into a professionally designed publication.

Journey with Christ through prayer and reflection. Our Stations of the Cross group is dedicated to deepening understanding of Christ's passion and sacrifice by bringing the traditional devotion of the Stations of the Cross to life at local parishes during the Lenten season. This group creates meaningful experiences for our community, allowing them to explore how Christ's sacrifice calls us to lives of compassion and service.

Good morning, Notre Dame! Our Morning Show produces daily video broadcasts that inform, entertain, and connect our school community. If you're interested in broadcasting, journalism, video production, or performing, this is your chance to be part of the team that starts everyone's day.

Members create professional-quality video content that airs during morning announcements, covering school news, upcoming events, sports highlights, weather, special segments, and more. Our show is student-run, giving members real-world experience in media production and live broadcasting. Remember: “Stay Classy, Notre Dame!”

The Pro Life Club is a student-led community dedicated to upholding the dignity of the human person from conception to natural death. Grounded in the Catholic belief that every life is a gift from God, we strive to be a joyful witness to the "Gospel of Life" through education, prayer, and tangible support for those in need.

We focus our efforts in three primary areas:

  • Prayer & Liturgy: Rosaries for Life, attendance at the March for Life, and spiritual adoption programs where we pray for unborn children and their parents.
  • Education & Advocacy: Hosting guest speakers and workshops to help students navigate complex bioethical issues with clarity, compassion, and a well-formed conscience.
  • Service & Support: Partnering with local crisis pregnancy centers and outreach organizations to provide material aid—like diaper drives and "baby showers"—and companionship to the most vulnerable.

Our club isn't just about a single issue; it’s about building a culture of life where every individual is seen, known, and loved. Whether you’re looking to get involved in social justice or simply want to learn more about our mission, there is a seat at the table for you.

Our Campus Ministry program is the heartbeat of spiritual life at Notre Dame, providing a welcoming space where students can explore their faith, discover their purpose, and build a lasting relationship with God. We believe that spiritual growth happens best through a blend of personal reflection and communal action.

Our ministry is built on three pillars:

  • Sacramental Life: Regular school-wide Masses, Reconciliation services, and daily prayer that ground our academic day in the presence of Christ.
  • Retreats & Reflection: Grade-level retreats that allow students to step away from the noise of teenage life to reconnect with themselves, their peers, and their Creator.
  • Faith in Action: Robust service-learning opportunities and mission trips that challenge students to live out the Gospel by serving "the least of these" in our local and global communities.

Whether you are a lifelong Catholic or simply seeking a supportive community to ask big questions, Campus Ministry is here to walk with you on your journey.

Lights, music, action! Our High School Musical Theater Club is where students passionate about singing, dancing, and acting come together to create unforgettable stage productions. Whether you dream of the spotlight or prefer working behind the scenes, there's a role for everyone in our theatrical family.

Our club produces full-scale musical productions in collaboration with Utica University in the spring and fall, providing students the opportunity to participate in every aspect of theater—from auditions and rehearsals to opening night and beyond. We create a supportive, inclusive environment where creativity flourishes, and lifelong friendships are formed.

Make music, make memories, make noise! Our High School Band Club brings together student musicians who want to explore different musical styles, collaborate with peers, and perform beyond the traditional concert band setting.

The Band Club offers a creative space for musicians to jam, experiment with various genres, and form smaller ensembles. Whether you're into jazz, rock, pop, funk, or anything in between, our club encourages musical exploration and collaboration in a relaxed, student-driven environment.

Step into the courtroom and experience the thrill of legal competition! Our Mock Trial Club provides students the opportunity to develop critical thinking, public speaking, and analytical skills while participating in simulated trial competitions against other schools.

Members take on the roles of attorneys and witnesses in realistic courtroom scenarios, preparing and presenting cases based on fictional legal disputes. Under the guidance of teacher advisors and volunteer attorney coaches, students learn courtroom procedure, legal strategy, and the art of persuasive argumentation.

¡Bienvenidos! Welcome to the High School Spanish Club, where language learning meets culture, community, and fun! Our club is dedicated to celebrating Hispanic culture and helping students practice Spanish in a relaxed, engaging environment outside the classroom.

Experience the richness of Spanish-speaking cultures through interactive activities, conversations, and events that bring the language to life. From cultural celebrations to movie nights, our club creates opportunities to use Spanish in authentic and enjoyable ways.

Join our High School Ski Club for an exciting winter season on the slopes! Whether you’re a first-time skier or an experienced rider, our club welcomes students of all skill levels who share a passion for winter sports and outdoor adventure.

Our club provides regular trips to local ski resorts throughout the winter season, where members can improve their skiing and snowboarding skills while enjoying the mountain atmosphere with friends. Experienced skiers and beginners alike will find opportunities to challenge themselves and grow in a supportive, fun environment.

The Environmental Club is a community of students dedicated to understanding and preserving the natural beauty of our own backyard. Rather than just talking about global issues, we focus on taking direct action where we live, breathe, and go to school.

Competitive Opportunity: Envirothon

For members who want to take their knowledge to the next level, we offer support for the National Envirothon.Participation in this prestigious natural resources competition is entirely optional, but it provides a fantastic opportunity for students to master topics like aquatic ecology, forestry, and soil science while competing for scholarships.

Art Club is a vibrant creative sanctuary where students of all skill levels can explore their artistic talents in a supportive, faith-filled environment. We believe that every act of creation is a reflection of the Divine Creator, and we strive to use our visual voices to bring beauty and inspiration to our school community.

Our club offers a space to experiment with new mediums and collaborate on meaningful projects:

  • Creative Exploration: Weekly "Open Studio" sessions where members can dive into painting, sketching, ceramics, or digital media beyond the classroom curriculum.
  • Art as Ministry: Designing seasonal displays for the school chapel, creating liturgical banners, and hosting "Pray & Paint" nights to connect spirituality with visual expression.
  • Community Impact: Collaborating on school-wide murals and contributing pieces to local exhibitions to share our vision with the wider community.

Whether you are a portfolio-building artist or someone who just finds peace in a sketchbook, you are welcome here. Join us as we explore the intersection of beauty, truth, and imagination.
